New Kitchen Sofa Throw progress....

A bit poorly over night....think I have caught my sons bug, so between sleeps I pick up the hook and add a couple more motifs.
It's made with Chunky or two strands of DK and a 5mm hook so it really is growing quite fast.
All Stylecraft Life and a couple of Special DK and James C Brett Marble Chunky

I need a couple of new cushion covers to go with the throw so a sample of a Moss stitch variation, this one is a bit more mesh like....another quick and easy stitch combo.
The Motif is from my book, Granny Squares, with a couple of changes to the first two rounds....more because of the chunky yarn used.

 HAPPY HOOKING

  2. Please could you crochet a bit slower, you put me to shame. I started a granny square blanket a year ago and
am nowhere near finishing. Do you ever do housework? lol.

    1. Hehehe...sorry.
Really I can't crochet quick enough....so many ideas and my hands won't work fast enough lol.
But I do have a lot of time to crochet....between 4 and 9 I can crochet for me, between 9 and 4 in the afternoon it must be work crochet, then after 4 until I fall asleep for me again and housework gets slotted in when I can't stand the mess any longer hehe.
      Thanks x

  5. Hope you feel better quickly Sue. Lots of bugs doing the rounds at the moment, I think. Take care of yourself. Whatever bug it is though isn't slowing down your creativity - what a gorgeous throw and cushions those are already let alone when finished! E x

    1. Hi Elizabeth....started with sickness, aches and pains headache mostly, snuffles and a terrible cough...bad head cold I suppose, I just don't get them so it is knocking me for six.
The crochet is a distraction and this motif is a quickly so it grows fast.
      Thanks x
