WIP......HOW MANY HAVE YOU GOT ON THE GO?

TOO MANY!!!

So I decided all this week I would spend adding to all my WIP projects and then one day a week until a selection are finished

BASE SQUARE

First square was 8 sts x 7 rows in Moss Stitch.

Pick up the number of stitches along one side of the first square to repeat the next square

then.... 

Each 'log' is 7 rows by number of sts needed to make the next log.

Log Cabin progress today.

at the moment the piece is 16.5" square or 42cm....not sure if I should make four about2.5' to  3' square and joint them together or one big one.

 I've been drawn to lots of blues just lately and I needed an Author's picture for a magazine article, with lots of new crochet..... hope this one is clear enough and isn't too scary? lol

I've got my new New James C Brett Marble Chunky poncho on and below is a possible new WIP cotton jacket.

What a nutty world we are living in lol.

 

Had a go at making some Fimo handles for my metal hooks

not perfect in shape but they work and are comfy to hold...and cheap too, one pack of Fimo is probably enought to do 7 may be 8 hooks depending on the mm size.

Baked in the oven for half an hour and cooled outside for 10 minutes..I saved some cash.

The Crofter Collar........SHADE 0045

 Not sure if I add it to a winter jacket or coat or make a complete jacket in it yet...

love how it works up in blocks of colour this is Shade 0045 and I edged it with l

arge shells in Stylecraft Life Col: Mint.

Some of my favourite colours...really pretty shades.

Well I finished it but really not sure about it now....

should I have stopped with the blue and not added so much red and yellow?

Not sure how big it will get yet....

A bit wobbly around the bottom point so just trying to pull it in a bit with a change of hook size rather than unpicking it....

I was looking at this granny square so thought I would try a triangle this time...
