Oooh these are SO beautiful, Sue! Love the way the white sets off the singy colours. Got to have a go at these although work is a-calling as is my frogged sea-ripple! All grist to your hook! Can I just ask what yarn you've used? - it looks yummy! E x
ReplyDeleteHi it is isn't it, 2 free balls with the new agazine thats out in UK caleed KNIT AND STITCH, well not qite a magazine page sze cards to go in a folder that is free with week3.
Deletesupposed to be two each week it's FRENCH and called BERGERE...although it is 100% acrylic it is very woolly in appearance, quite impressed wool gifts and needles and hook but it will go up in price on week 3 to £4.50, week 1 was 99p and wk 2 was £2.50...great insruction for a beginner too

Hi Meredith...I am thanks, gall stones scan to come end of month...we'll see what come sof that one! lol
DeleteLots of samples that didn't make it into the book, so though a few freebies was the best use of them, lol

Thanks Suz. These are so pretty. Sarah London sells off her extra stuff that doesn't make it into her books. You should think of doing the same. I'd definitely buy some!!Hope you're feeling a wee bit better now but awful about the gall stones, if indeed that is the problem. Fingers crossed for you to keep well. x
ReplyDeleteHi..feeling a lot better thanks..lost half a stone since the week before Christmas so going in the right direction.

I love those circles in squares, Sue! I love the top ones in soft red and green and the lavender ones too. I'm definitely trying those out. Thanks so much for sharing! That wool does look gorgeous! What a great bargain you got with the magazine! I wish we could get those magazines over here!
ReplyDeleteHi, the first 2 and may be the thrird will be a bargain but not sure after that, might be cheaper to just buy the yarn as it goes up to £4.50 a copy!!
DeleteGlad you like the circle in a square sample..have fun
