BLOCK STITCH AND DIAGONAL CUSHION PATTERN

not even a seat done 'cos I was making the chandelier instead...Night time pictures were terrible but the chandelier worked a treat and looked pretty, feel asleep so I had to get up and take the pictures
A couple of you asked about the Diagonal Stripy Cushion....pattern link
An old pattern but it has been popular and is a real quick cushion to make

made in the round and folder around the cushion pad

Garden chair covers progress...slow, not even the seat area covered yet

Enjoy your day hugs to all x

  1. Gorgeous cushions, Sue. A pattern I will enjoy using when the end of the summer comes. I always love your vibrant colour choices! They must go with your vibrant and colourful personality! ;)

  2. Beautiful! I use the diagonal pattern to make pot holders all the time and I never thought of making it larger for a cushion! Brilliant! Thanks for sharing.

    1. You're welcome Eileen, several have said they use the diagonal pattern for pot holders, I found it one day as I threw it down it sort of fell into the folded shape. A happy accident lol

  4. I've just looked up the pattern for the lovely diagonal cushions. It's all in a lovely and easy double crochet and looks quick to work up with a double strand of wool. I'm going to make one up to take as a gift when I go visiting next month! Thank you for sharing!
