KNIT & CROCHET WITH 6 BALLS WOOL, HOOK & NEEDLES

Don't usually buy knitting and crochet magazines but FREE WOOL?...and I was interested in the quality of yarn and hook as well.
I created a new granny motif to try it all out
Very impressed, acrylic but very wool like and springy and quite pleased with how it worked up
5mm Bamboo hook was lovely, very smooth and comfy to use

This Magazine was a little bit expensive but I was definitely impressed with the yarn and hook

Mandala Pattern update:
Hoped to post it today but got to round 8 of re-make and writing the pattern, BrupBrup wanted feeding so up I got, fed him, mean while the others all turned up so 15 minutes later I returned to the sofa and the pile of cotton and could I find my hook?....no I could not. lol
An hour LATER I was still looking for it, but really it seemed to have disappeared off the face of the earth
So I gave up and went to bed.

As I took off my clothes I could see in the mirror a line across my tummy,....laugh or what!

And I had felt myself and all pockets 3 times too. hehehe

Hugs to all xx

    1. Hi Annie I wasn't disappointed even though it was quite an expensive magazine, if I can get a cushion or pillow out of it I will be well chuffed lol

  2. Sue, very funny story. I wonder how many hours we have all spent searching for a hook or needle?

  4. I am so jealous - we don't get any good extras with our magazines. :)

  6. Wow yarn included with a magazine, wish the us had those goodie bags. I'm so looking forward to you post stitch mandala pattern. I hope mine will lay flat, that's always my challenge when crocheting a circle:)

  7. Pretty colours! I had looked at that magazine and wondered about the quality of the yarn - I may just have to buy it now! :) I'm always losing my hooks too and having to check my clothes and the sofa! I also have a habit of forgetting where I have placed my sewing needles - slightly more worrying! :) Best wishes, Pj x

  8. I have to agree these magazines are really expensive. I bought one last month and was really disappointed with the crochet hook but the wool was ok. The granny motif you've created is beautiful and I love those colours, worth buying the magazine for.
    Take care. Ali x
