TOO MANY!!!
So I decided all this week I would spend adding to all my WIP projects and then one day a week until a selection are finished
BASE SQUARE
Log Cabin progress today.
BASE SQUARE
First square was 8 sts x 7 rows in Moss Stitch.
Pick up the number of stitches along one side of the first square to repeat the next square
then....
Each 'log' is 7 rows by number of sts needed to make the next log.Log Cabin progress today.
at the moment the piece is 16.5" square or 42cm....not sure if I should make four about2.5' to 3' square and joint them together or one big one.
HAPPY HOOKING XX
Goodness - you're a brave woman. Better man than I am Gunga Din!
ReplyDeleteI have so may projects - I have no idea how many. Does it count if you have totally forgotten about it? Also some which are sort of finished, but not quite, like a bag without a lining...
Every time I open a box I found something I have started and not finished. But my philosophy is that it is better to travel than to arrive so, when I find something like that I either throw it away, or give it away, or sometimes.... even FINISH IT!

Hehe.....thanks that makes me feel better....so many I couldn't count mine either.....but I am making a promise to myself to finish at least a dozen before Christmas.
DeleteI am trying to work towards doing an exhibition of blankets sometime next year...do you think anyone would come to see them? Lol.
Good luck with at least some of your WIP set yourself a target lol

GORGEOUS colours, Sue! They make me what to sing and dance! This project would make a marvellous wall-hanging! Can't wait to hear how you did it!
ReplyDeleteI have 3 WIPs going at the moment. Two in chunky wool and one dainty doily! Variety is the spice of life and I like to change my size hook from time to time!
Hi thanks..they are jolly aren't they?...decided to make 4 blocks into a blanket then think about 2 more or finish it as a square for now.
DeleteWell done you for being good at finishing projects off.

I'm trying to knit a Fair Isle jumper but I swear, it's going out the first open window I can find! I've changed my mind about the colours THREE times. I've crocheted myself one of those little Peter Pan collars tonight just to take my mind of the Fair Isle from Hell! Your log cabin work is amazing. It looks like knitting. Want to finish my Fair Isle?lolx
ReplyDeleteOh clever you..Fair Isle is beautiful but complicated...good luck.
DeleteThanks coming along....one finished , one about a third made and one just started..I need four at least may be 6 so a bit to go yet lol

Sue I love your log cabin. At first I thought you were doing patchwork log cabin. It truly looks like fabric.
ReplyDeleteI have toooo many WIP on the go at the moment and I have had proper chat itch myself on at least completing something before taking on another.
Maybe I might have a finished project next week if I be stern with myself lol.
